Progress and Impact of ABW

Robert Monné, ABW Managing Director, highlighted the remarkable progress achieved by ABW since its launch on June 1st, 2022. ABW’s impact is based on three main pillars: research, which focuses on solving ongoing problems; businesses, which apply analytics and research in practice; and nonprofits, who bring forth the problems worth solving. Through extensive collaborations and knowledge sharing initiatives, ABW successfully bridges the gap between analytics knowledge and practical implementation. Robert showcased significant collaborations with esteemed nonprofits like Amref, 510, The World Bank, and The Ocean Cleanup, and announced exploring partnerships with organizations such as Oxfam and the Medicins Sans Frontieres. ABW also acknowledged its research and business partners, including Ortec and the University of Amsterdam, as well as in-kind contributors like MIT Management School, Tilburg University, Cmotions, and DPDHL Group. Looking ahead, ABW aims to secure long-term funding, expand its team and contributors, and increase its overall impact.
